Sources
Kinds of source
Websites, news pages, YouTube channels and social accounts, and the plans that include each.
Sudwire follows official bodies wherever they publish their news. Every plan includes websites and YouTube, and social networks depend on your plan.
| Kind | What Sudwire reads | Plans |
|---|---|---|
| Website with a feed | Its news feed (RSS or Atom) | All plans |
| Website without a feed | A page that lists its news or media releases | All plans |
| YouTube | New videos on a channel | All plans |
| Bluesky | Public posts | Pro, Agency and Enterprise |
| Mastodon | Public posts | Pro, Agency and Enterprise |
| Posts on public pages | Pro, Agency and Enterprise | |
| Posts by business and creator accounts | Agency and Enterprise | |
| X | Posts, without replies or reposts | Agency and Enterprise |
Not open yet: Facebook and Instagram. They show as soon in the dashboard until we can read them.

| Mastodon accounts | No | 10 | 50 |

Every source counts toward the total, social accounts included. See Plan limits for everything else.
How often they're read
- Sources are checked every 30 minutes on Starter, 10 minutes on Pro and 5 minutes on Agency.
- X and Facebook accounts are read at most every 15 minutes, and Instagram every 30 minutes, whatever the plan.
- On a website without a feed, the first visit only notes the links already there, so old releases aren't passed off as news. After that, Sudwire opens up to 5 new articles per check and respects the site's robots.txt.
Not offered
Telegram, LinkedIn, TikTok and Threads can't be followed, and Sudwire doesn't scrape social networks. Official websites without a feed are read through their news page instead.
