Sources

When a source stops working

Why a source shows an error, what Sudwire does about it and how to fix it.

A source that can't be read shows the reason in red on the Sources tab and counts under Need attention. Sudwire keeps trying it on every check: a source is never turned off by itself. If it hasn't answered for two days, we email you, at most once a month per site.

Other labels

  • Not checked yet: just added. It's read on the next check.
  • Turned off: someone switched it off. Use the switch on its card to turn it back on.
  • Not on your plan or Over your plan's limit: after a move to a smaller plan. The sources added first keep running (see Change your plan).

Remove a source

On the source's card, open the menu (the three dots) and press Remove source. If it's the site's only source, no new drafts are written until you add another.
