Drafts and publishing
Review drafts in Ghost
Sudwire drafts arrive in Ghost under Posts, where you publish one to approve it or delete it to reject it.
- In Ghost Admin, open Posts and look at your drafts. Every Sudwire post carries the internal tag
#sudwire, which readers don't see, so you can filter for them. - Check each draft against the source credited at the end, and edit anything you like.
- Publish it (or schedule it) to approve it. Delete it to reject it.
Sudwire looks for your decisions about every ten minutes, for 30 days after a draft was sent, and your dashboard shows them. Each article's page on the dashboard has an Open in Ghost button.
What each draft has
- Tags: the section and the article's tags.
- An excerpt, and a feature image with its credit as the caption, when there's a photo.
- A short note at the top: “Written with AI from official sources” (see The AI label).
- A link to the video, for YouTube sources, and a credit for the source at the end.
With Publish automatically on, articles are published straight away, with the note. Sensitive stories still arrive as drafts.
If Ghost turns a draft away, Sudwire tries it again without the photo. If Ghost refuses that too, the draft shows as Not delivered on your dashboard. See Ghost errors.
