The free trial

Starter and Pro start with a 14-day free trial, with up to 5 articles a day while it runs.

  • Starter and Pro start with a 14-day free trial. Agency starts with 20% off the first month instead, on monthly billing.
  • Nothing is charged until the trial ends. Your card is taken at checkout, and the Billing page shows the date and the amount of the first charge.
  • During the trial, Sudwire writes up to 5 articles a day across your account, whatever you chose. Everything else works as on your plan.

Start the trial

  1. Open Billing. Only the account owner can.
  2. Pick a plan and how many articles a day you want, then press Start free trial.
  3. Enter your card details. Due today is $0.

Prefer not to wait? At checkout, choose Start today to get all your articles a day from the first day. That uses up the free trial for your account.

During the trial

  • A banner shows how many days are left. When good stories are waiting because of the daily trial limit, it says how many.
  • Changing only the number of articles a day keeps the trial. Switching to another plan ends the trial and takes the first payment.
  • You can't add a website that already had a free trial on another account.
  • We email you 3 days before the trial ends, and again the day before.

Get the whole plan now

On Billing, press Start plan now. The page shows what's due today; press Start plan and pay to end the trial and get all your articles a day straight away.

When the trial ends

Your plan starts and your card is charged that day, with nothing for you to do. To stop, cancel from the Billing page before then and you won't be charged (see Cancel or pause).

Who gets a trial

There's one free trial per publisher: a website, email inbox or card that already had a trial doesn't get another, and on some new accounts we can only offer a paid plan. If the Billing page doesn't offer a trial, you can still subscribe. If a card already started a trial on another account, the trial ends early and the first payment is taken.

Before payments open

If payments aren't open yet, your dashboard says so. You can add your site, find sources and connect WordPress or Ghost in the meantime, and we email you once you can start the trial.
